Nizoral Dandruff Shampoo is used for the prevention and treatment of scalp conditions dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Nizoral 2% Shampoo is used for the prevention and treatment of infections in which the yeast Malassezia (previously called Pityrosporum) is likely to be involved, such as dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. Also for the treatment of tinea (pityriasis) Versicolor. Ideally within or after treatments with Nizoral ® dandruff 20mg/g shampoo to maintain dandruff and itch free. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies in pregnant or lactating women.
