There is a wide range of optional units covering different aspects of supporting teaching and learning, which allows the learner a choice to select units in a specialist area, or to spread their choice of units across several specialist areas. Assessments will be carried out using various evaluation mediums such as observation of practice, witness statements, reflections, case studies, placement logs and written questions. The Supporting Teaching & Learning - CACHE Level 3 Award (RQF) Course aims to enable learners to understand the roles and responsibilities of those involved in support roles in schools and colleges. A module dedicated to safeguarding will teach you about key legislation and policy, enabling you to act responsibly and with the children’s best interests at heart. This includes how to correctly raise the alarm in suspected instances of neglect or abuse.

Understand how to support learning of children & young people with special educational needs and disabilities On successful completion of theLevel 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learningyou will receive a qualification listed on the RQF at level 3 (Qualification Reference Number: 603/2498/3). This course has also been assigned 35 credits.The Level 3 Certificate enables progression to the Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or into the workforce. You can expect to receive your certification within 12 weeks of successfully completing the qualification.
