Some launch monitors like the Uneekor QED allow you to see a slow motion video of your club through impact. I have a laptop PC that should be able to handle most of todays software and open to purchasing an iPad if necessary. The EYE MINI comes bundled with the Uneekor View software, available for PC or iOS. In it, you can view a simulated 3D ball flight with your data after every shot. In our view, there are two main reasons why the PRGR HS-130A is so great. First, it’s only a couple hundred dollars and thus is within the budget of practically every golfer out there. We recently reviewed the Mevo Plus, and found it to be the perfect marriage of consumer-level usability and price, but with serious professional performance and features.Like the original SkyTrak, the SkyTrak+ is also a golf simulator that comes with an out-of-the-box driving range and is compatible with a wide range of third-party softwares. Features Devices such as the Garmin Approach R10 and Rapsodo MLM2 Pro can be paired with an Android or Apple phone in mere seconds (seriously, less than 20 seconds to connect). Devices that require the use of their own onboard Wifi signal such as the SkyTrak+ and GolfZon Wave proved a little harder to connect. If you plan to use your launch monitor outdoors or take it out to the range, then Mevo+ is a clear top dog in this price range. But if you plan to use you launch monitor mostly indoors, then SkyTrak is a close competitor. It requires much less space indoors making it more flexible for indoor users. It just isn't quite as accurate as Mevo+ outdoors. Simulation through E6 Connect is very good. E6 is one of the leading golf simulation software programs on the market, so it provides a really good experience.
You get the same Vision software that’s used on their high-end simulators but with a launch monitor you can use both at home or on the range. A feature that elevates the Mevo+ from just being a launch monitor is the simulation integration via E6 Connect. Although I don’t have a home simulation bay, I did step through the setup process and was impressed with the simplicity. E6 Connect required a separate app and login, but inputting the product key that was included in the Mevo+ box gave me instant access to 5 golf courses and 17 practice ranges. The graphics are amazing, and I could envision playing on an iPad, but a full projection system would be the ultimate way to enjoy this feature. Effectiveness Launch monitors may be used with a wide range of third-party software solutions. The ones you’re most likely to come across are E6 CONNECT, The Golf Club 2019, Creative Golf 3D, FSX (only for Foresight Sports launch monitors), Awesome Golf, and GSPro. So before deciding which device you want, it’s really important to understand what you’re looking for, as well as what your budget is. Most importantly, I want to (must) be able to play multi-player with my children and grandchildren. I’ll play solo when I have too.
