About this deal

Language - Regardless of country of origin all tracks are sung in English, unless otherwise stated in our description. This album has been prepared using the 2009 digital remasters which had been created from the original stereo analogue master tapes.

Non-legitimate copies also have “Phil + Ronnie” scratched in the play-out area of the disc but the writing is much smaller. My album has on side 1- Phil+Ronnie, JS-17,500-15, with 3 small dots under the 15 and a large one next to it, a 2 on it’s back, the bell sound stamp, sf stamp, and an *. I have a Let It Be album with all of the earmarks of a US original EXCEPT instead of the IAM indicator there is an asterisk. Although many criticised this album for what it's not (especially coming after Abbey Road)it shows the group as they are at the time, fragmenting all the while still making great music.

The Super Deluxe Vinyl Special Edition slipcase box set houses 4 LPs, a 12" EP, and a 105-page hardbound book in slipcase.

On the same day, HMV released a special 12" box set with CD, badge, booklet and photos in a limited edition of 10,000 units as catalog number BEA CD 25/8. The Super Deluxe collections also feature 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track ‘Let It B’e EP, and the never before released 14-track ‘Get Back’ stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969. The album was delayed further and in fact became their 12th and final official album release on 8th May 1970 following additional production by American producer Phil Spector.Like most of the band’s previous releases, the album topped record charts in many countries, including both the US and the UK. By the way, the “IAM” in the triangle stands for the International Association of Machinists Union whose workers ran the pressing plant).

The former was issued as a single in March 1970, and like all the album’s recording to this point, was produced by George Martin. It was released in the UK on 8 May 1970, almost a month after the group's break-up, in tandem with the motion picture of the same name. Thanks to George Martin/Glyn Johns/Billy Preston/Mal Davies/Peter Brown/Richard Hewson/Brian Rogers". Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Fakes don’t have that Bell Sound stamp, but the people who made the illegal copies did try to imitate the originals by including the “sf” initials too.

Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers. In January 1970, the remaining Beatles finished the album with the completion of Let It Be and I Me Mine. Get Back was ultimately assembled under the title of Let It Be by the American producer Phil Spector in early 1970. Actually conceived as a project before the recording of their penultimate album Abbey Road, various inter band squabbles and the temporary departure of George Harrison meant that it wasn't finished by 1970 at which point Phil Spector had been drafted in to slather strings all over it. My own copies (I have two – another variant lists the Fab Four as arrangers of "Maggie Mae" on the label) are all Scranton.
