The supporting characters are well written and flushed out and the who thing is a masterpiece of gritty YA fiction. I’d already taken out my contacts when I’d tried to contact my younger sister Skylar, who’d promised to keep in touch if she came here tonight. Rue currently makes her home in Atlanta and has said that she has always been obsessed with making fiction from reality either with words or with paint.I had a specific story in mind for years that I couldn’t workout because it literally had five lead characters ( Raven Queen’s Harem – about a ‘murder’ of raven shifters). One minute he was the guy I loathed and the next thing I knew, I was waking up beside him desperate to get out of there. The h’s younger sister was sexually assaulted in the beginning of the story (forced/manipulated into giving bj’s to multiple men), the H and his friends did not make it happen directly but were definitely there and did instigate the whole fiasco. If she said something like “it’s a small high school I know he hasn’t been with her), I’d be like OK. Sometimes she wonders if he sleeps with both, but it doesn't bother her that much to even be jealous for a minute.
