This isn’t really noticeable in video games and movies – if it is, it is negligible as it doesn’t occur often, so you can just disable local dimming for regular desktop use if you find the blooming and haloing too distractive. As factory defaults but gamma significantly lower. The image appears bleached. Measured gamma decrease of 0.5 doesn’t quite match stated offset. As is quite common with LBL settings, a strong green channel is maintained which minimises the impact on contrast from applying the LBL settings. It gives a somewhat green look to the image, although your eyes adapt to this to an extent over time and it becomes less noticeable. If you found this too bothersome you could replicate the colour channel adjustments made with the ‘Blue Light’ setting of your choice but also reduce the green colour channel manually. You can then save these colour channel adjustments to one of the numbered ‘G’ presets so you can easily recall them later. We used the strongest LBL setting (with reduced brightness and appropriate ‘+0.3’ relative gamma) for our own viewing comfort in the evening. Although not for specific testing beyond that involving the setting itself. As usual, if you’re running the monitor at 3440 x 1440 and viewing 1920 x 1080 content (for example a video over the internet or a Blu-ray, using movie software) then it is the GPU and software that handles the upscaling. That’s got nothing to do with the monitor itself – there is a little bit of softening to the image compared to viewing such content on a native Full HD monitor, but it’s not extreme and shouldn’t bother most users. Though gaming rooms may get a bad rap for being stuffy and unpleasant, they don’t have to be that way. If you’re looking for a way to spruce up your gaming environment and create a green gamer room, there’s no better way than to introduce some plants into the environment.

Ready to see how you measure up? Human Benchmark Typing is a straight-up test that gives you your WPM (words per minute) and counts your typos. It's not a game, but it's the ultimate way to measure your typing skills. As someone who enjoys playing games, you probably know the importance of a high-quality monitor. It plays an important part when it comes to presenting you with the best resolution and an immersive gaming experience. Your graphic driver is software that allows your computer to communicate with its graphics card (GPU or graphics processing unit). It translates digital code (zeros and ones) into images, graphics, and videos. Known by a few names—display or video drivers—they send instructions to your graphics card to render images on your screen.Another great thing about the Peace Lily is that it likes being root-bound, so repotting is only necessary every few years. The only possible negative is that the Peace Lily is not pet-friendly: if chewed and swallowed, it can cause serious problems for your furry friend. For non-pet owners, the Peace Lily makes a great, simple addition to any gaming room! While this monitor is made according to the latest industry standards, as can be seen in the impressive design and high refresh rate/response time, it is quite simple to use. The first thing that you will want to do is decide whether it will be standing on your desk or mounted to a wall. After that came the DCI-P3 test, which measures how accurately a monitor can display movie and TV content in creative editing apps. Again, the Predator X35's coverage was underwhelming considering its price—just 84.9 percent, whereas our Editors' Choice Razer Raptor 27 scored 94 percent. An updated graphics driver can boost your system's performance and visual output. Linus Tech Tips tested an older NVIDIA GTX 480 across four games, using five different driver versions spanning the past four years. As above but an increase in gamma and a bit more depth and saturation overall. Measured gamma increase of 0.5 doesn’t quite match stated offset.

Talking about the structure, it is an 1800R curved display that features a 21:9 aspect ratio. This is considered to be ideal for supporting high-resolution, optimal performance. It offers superb contrast and brightness that you will be able to adjust depending on your personal needs. Keep in mind that the display is VESA-certified and HDR 1000, which further contributes to the quality of the image you will be looking at. Native uniformity is good, the central zone is accurate relative to the center while with the outer edges there is a slight vignette, which isn't unusual to see from a curved VA panel. However, performance here is a bit weaker than the PG35VQ, at least when comparing our review units. As a premium gaming monitor, the Predator X35 lets you control every aspect of how the panel behaves, including activating features like Dark Boost (a contrast-enhancing tool useful for multiplayer gamers), turning on one of six different hardware-based crosshairs, sending the response time into overdrive, fine-tuning the color profile, and more. The bottom line? Keeping your graphics driver updated is an easy yet effective way to enhance your digital interactions, whether gaming, streaming, or casual browsing.

The Pothos is a tropical vine native to the Solomons Islands. Known by many names, including Golden Pothos, Devil’s Vine, and Devil’s Ivy, the Pothos is often found hanging from shelves and alongside succulents on desks. Even indoors, Pothos grow extremely fast, up to 12 to 18 inches in a single month! Known for their stunning beauty, Pothos come in a lot of different varieties that have various color patterns.A moderately effective Low Blue Light (LBL) setting. The blue colour channel is reduced somewhat, reducing blue light output from the monitor by a moderate amount. The image appears noticeably warmer than factory defaults. A very mild green tint can be noticed initially. You’ll also find the sRGB mode, which restricts the color output to ~100% sRGB in case you want a more accurate color representation of sRGB content.
