About this deal

I heard, that the thing I should be choosing IEMs based on the graph, but I have no idea what I am looking for in the graph. I would like to buy headphones for gaming (competetive/esport) and as I was looking into it, i found out, that the best choice would be IEM headphones (right?). If you’d like to delve into more single-DD madness, here’s my round-up impressions of a number of budget in-ears featuring the 7Hz Salnotes Zero, Kiwi Ears Cadenza, Tin HiFi C2, and Tin HiFi C3.

KIMA comes equipped with a 10mm large high-performance dual-cavity dynamic driver on each side. This driver features latest-generation DLC(Diamond-Like Carbon) diaphragm coil, N52 neodymium magnetic circuit, and high-tension ultra-fine voice coil. Compared to traditional DLC drivers, this newly-developed driver delivers a cleaner and more natural sound presentation. Play Of Light & Shadow With 3D Styled Ear Shells:- As I end my evaluation and assessment on KIMA, DUNU proves to the audio enthusiast community that they will deliver the best possible audio quality even in the entry-level segment. As it also noted that DUNU isn't really that exceptional when its technical capabilities even on their midranger like DUNU but rather focus on superb tonal balanced sound with almost accurate tonal colour, DUNU KIMA possesses those tonal and technical philosophy that will give a more pleasurable listening experience to audio enthusiasts. MidrangeThe Galileo has the more forward lower mids yet sounds slightly leaner in comparison. I wouldn’t call the sound thin though. The DKC gathers some more warmth from the low-end effectively giving a fuller sound. However, the Galileo comes across cleaner and more resolute. For female vocals and the upper midrange, the DKC sounds more forward by a touch. The Galileo has a smoother presentation in this range whereas the DKC offers a bit more in the way of shimmer and liveliness due to the boost in pinna gain. The Galileo is generally set closer to the ear with a less pronounced low-end which does well to draw out some of the finer details in the midrange. As far as vocals are concerned, I like the Galileo better. Vocals on the Galileo come across smoother and more up front with nice presence in the mix. Dunu was nice enough to provide a good selection of tips and all of them are very good quality. Each tip type will add a unique spin and subtle changes to the tuning. They added nine pairs of tips in total, or three sets of three (S, M, L).The bass is deeper and more sensory in the T4 Plus, that greater power fills the sound in a more compact way, reaching a higher level of impact, with a darker and more appropriate colour. The Kima's feel in that more rounded mid-bass, while the TinHiFi's stretch further into the inaudible range. The roughness is more accentuated and their wake is more persistent in the sound, though the punch is tight. The Kima's are a little more restrained and controlled, less powerful and punchy. The T4 Plus makes me smile with its roughness and power, although the overall quality may be a little lower. Over the years, DUNU has gained expertise in tuning and designing premium IEMs. They have a pretty solid range of premium in-ear monitors, each looking better than the other. The latest KIMA here is no different. The pair features premium metallic alloy ear cavities that are designed after a lot of adjustments and fine-carving processes to the shell structure. DUNU has crafted the shells with a premium matte finish. They have featured a 3d styled beveled pattern on the face cover area which reflects different effects of light and shadow based on the angle of the light falling onto the shells. Certainly that for a midcentric like me, KIMA seems the pass in flying colours on how it sounds so balanced and well-delineated for a single DD. The IEM shells are constructed from zinc alloy and are silver matte-finished. The seam separating the faceplate from the body is flush and smooth. The four beveled edges on the faceplate do a good job highlighting shadows and light as intended. Why make a Classic Version? During the process of research and development on the Kima, with some personalized modifications, the sound becomes more suitable for pop music. In terms of sound aesthetics, The sound of the Kima Classic will have a new, fresh flavor. The main difference between the Kima and Kima Classic is the more pronounced lower end and enhanced high-frequency region as well. But the overall changes are throughout the frequency band, it has a cleaner and transparent signature as the OG Kima. Features:-

Imaging seems to take more of an enveloping 3-D like presentation on how I was able to pinpoint the placements of singers and instrumentalists in a three channel-like experience . Separation has considerable gap between the spacing of each element with its distinct stratification of each specific frequency and dynamic layers. DUNU Kima Classic is a redesigned variant of the award-winning DUNU Kima. At a fair glance, the pair looks just like Kima in a new color scheme, but the sound of the Kima Classic brings a new, fresh flavor to the listeners. DUNU has readjusted the tuning of the pair to deliver a more pronounced lower-end, more lively treble, and a cleaner midrange response. While the shell shape is kept the same, the new Kima Classic has got a wonderful new Classic Coffee Grey color theme. The cable has been designed to match the smokey look of the pair!! Kima was a wonderful set, Kima Classic brings a breath of fresh air to the lineup with a new tuning profile!! It's not easy to make the treble sound easy, without missing anything. Well, maybe some people would prefer a more prominent crunch, a higher sparkle or a thinner or more penetrating sound. None of that will be here and that won't mean that the treble will be overly clipped. Looking at the graph it might seem so, but the result proves otherwise. True, the treble is on the safe side of any tuning, but it is descriptive enough that it doesn't feel thin or meagre. They are soft, but with enough expressiveness to give the sound realism and extension. Perhaps the limit may be in the air range. But the best thing is that this tuning allows the whole to feel balanced and natural, with just enough brightness and little or nothing to be missed. I look at the graph and I am surprised: the tuning has been clever in this section to complement the rest of the ranges excellently. Regarding its sound profile, Dunu Kima takes a more mild-U shaped sound signature that it sounds so balanced and almost neutral to listen with. It has just minor colouration in the overall sound spectrum. There are no warranties other than expressly set forth herein.I am really new to this whole audio "scene" and I will learn how to read the graph (but it will take some time), so I would really appreciate some tips for that also. The Aria 2021 also is infamous for paint peeling off the shell, and the build and accessories pale in contrast to the Kima Classic. The Kima Classic is a sub- bass focused IEM, with bass just north of neutral. There's a slight rumble when the music calls for it, though this set is not a bona fide basshead IEM. The Kima Classic has excellent bass quality - with a rapid bass that is textured, with minimal mid-bass bleed.

Difference Between Kima & Kima Classic

The gold-plated brass nozzles are ridged to retain ear tips, have a metal interior grill, and are polished and extraordinarily shiny. I'll be explaining what sound characteristics that I've heard in every section of the frequency range spectrum. The treble is as clear and transparent as the original Kima, but the sound is more pronounced and exciting, especially in the lower treble. Despite starting at 10 kHz, the high treble has a timid response that, in my opinion, dims the soul of the vocalists or instruments while maintaining an airy presence. Most of the time, the sound felt similar to the original Kima, where the vocals sound natural; they aren't sibilant or hot, and the instrumentation is the same. The lower treble, on the other hand, performs melodically with the entire range while being upfront. The instrumentation is clear, and the vocals are lively. Every component is properly and fairly positioned, and they all work well together. The vocals and instruments are distinct and unobtrusive. The treble area responds by appearing generally soothing and unobtrusive. As a result, the treble region sounds more forward, clear, and crisp overall. COMFORT, ISOLATION, AND FITComfort is excellent, with the Dunu Kima aiding a snug, reliable fit. Isolation is average due to the two vents.
