About this deal

He was nice right from the start because he wanted to make things better between them, which I thoroughly loved and appreciated, but that is why I didn’t see the enemies in this. Macon wasn’t the nicest person back in high school, and his cruelty left permanent marks on Delilah… and that’s not even taking into account his relationship with her sister. For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights.

You just know when these two finally finally get horizontal on a bed (or in a bathtub or on a sandy beach), the end result is bound to be explosive. And then again: Whether I wanted to admit it or not, I have wanted to know how it would feel to be kissed by Delilah Baker for as long as I can remember.I did have some problems with the book, the first being that the final half of the book felt unfinished, and the story felt quite inconsistent. She loved cooking and wanted to pursue a career with it, and her passion for it was clear and vivid in her descriptions of the food and how she visualizes food.

Being her sister, I understand how she was taking her side, but also, how and why could you after everything? and you know what, after reading a few books from the hangmen series, i really needed this lighthearted book. Access to the Plus Catalogue—thousands of Audible Originals, audiobooks and podcasts, including exclusive series.Delilah Baker’s family moves to the southern town of Shermont, North Carolina when she’s eleven years old. I hate heroines that put themselves into the position of a victim so willingly for people who do not deserve their sacrifice.
