To use, this curling wand is pretty easy, but it does take a bit of practice, I would say I had developed a good technique of rolling my hair backwards around it by the third time I used it.The other thing is the smell, the wand has a very plasticky smell that smells like burning plastic when it is hot, and this smell transfers onto your hair which isn't great. I loved the final look I managed to achieve with this curling wand, it didn't however hold very well in my hair but I am going to try out a stronger hairspray to see if it makes a difference.
