My son has fallen asleep with these on his head twice in the 18 hours he has had them, so I'm certain they are very comfortable. we made a lot of experimentation with cardboard, then was designing the housing for the electronics,knowing that it was going to be one-piece inyected part, after that was testing with 3d printing and creating the pad extensor, which is included for kids with small heads. The removable clip on pad means that he can grow into the headphones so they should last for a number of years.The ear pads are made from soft foam-filled eco-leather fabric, and snap-on extension pads mean they should fit smaller children. The headphones are constructed out of a safe, non-toxic and BPA-free foam, providing comfort and safety for children and peace of mind for their parents.

The headband was rigid hard plastic with no padding and no way to adjust other that to remove the insert so only had 2 sizes.
